I just noticed that DCL is booking 5-night cruises this summer followed by a 4-night alternating every other week. What do they do those other 4 days (and 5 nights?) Have they always done this or is this new this year?
We are going on a 5 night "double dip end of May. Twice to CC. Can't wait.

Thanks Catzle for the response, but I'm still looking for an answer to my questions (yea, I'm neurotic that way.)
Come on Ed, you must know!
Easy. DCL simply used some Disney magic to stretch a week out to nine days.
Believe it or not......... I don't have a clue.
But I'll see what I can find out.
DCL has done this in the past, and it is very popular; in fact, we're going on a 5-nighter in May of '11 on the Dream. Two - - count 'em - - two stops at Castaway Cay?
They do a 5-night, followed by another 5-night, followed by a 4-night. If you do the "ciphering", that works out to 14 nights, or two full weeks.
Thanks Ed. Ya know, when I first posted this question, I thought that would be what they should do, but looking at the DCL website, I only saw the 5-nighter every other week. Now going back and looking at it again, I see that they have two different itineraries that alternate. I just didn't scroll down far enough to see it.
When the Magic first returned from its last repo, they did a five-night cruise to get the schedule back to "normal" (Saturday to Saturday). That's the first I ever heard of a DCL five-night cruise.
Ed, you're right. Two visits to Castaway Cay does sound like
