    Default Palo question

We have a 4 night cruise coming up in September. On the cruise, 4 nights, 3 different dining rooms. Meaning one will be scheduled twice. Does andyone know if a Palo evening is booked, will it automatically take the place of the duplicate dining experience?

We were on a 4-night cruise a couple of years ago, and Palo was not part of the regular dining rotation.

Currently on the 4 night Wonder nights 2 and 3 are repeated and night 3 is the Pirate Party. We have Palo booked on night 2 as we did not want to miss the Pirate Party. We are hoping that our nights 2 and 3 are not Animator's Palette as we missed AP on our first cruise due to having a Palo ressie. They only do the cool changing walls once on each cruise. We will cancel our Palo dinner if it does end up this way for us. Since we also have a Palo brunch booked we won't be too upset.

That's correct, but I don't think that's what the OP was asking.

No, it won't. Your assigned rotation will remain the same, with two nights in one of the regular dining rooms. If you find after you get your dining rotation (when you check in for boarding) and find that your Palo ressie means you'll miss one of the 3 main dining rooms, you might want to make a beeline to the Palo desk in one of the nightclubs as soon as you board to see if you can change your Palo night to fall on one of the "duplicate" nights.

As a courtesy, let your servers know which night you will be going to Palo.

Unfortunately, no. We ended up being very lucky. We did miss Pirate dinner, but fortunately, it ended up being our duplicate restaurant.

They don't let you choose your dining rotation, either and you won't get the rotation until you check-in at the Port. (Some people have had luck calling customer service to get the info, but they told me that they didn't have the info.)

The good news is that you can go and make changes at one of the bars when you board. If you go early enough, you may be able to make changes.

We booked Palo for night 3, which was Pirate night, as I mentioned, but we planned it at 6PM so we saw they show that night with our kids and just missed pirate dinner.

There is always going to be something missed. But, I will say DON'T MISS PALO. It was wonderful, delicious, special and great!!

Our dining rotation was APPT, which equals, Artist Point, Parrot Cay, Parrot Cay & Tritons.

I hope this info is helpful!! I have navigators, if you need more info and would be happy to answer any of your questions!

    First. Thank you.
We last sailed ten years ago with our daughter who is now in college. So are we going to feel we missed anything (must see)if we miss the pirates diner?
Last time we had two diners in Parrot Cay which was fine but we would have liked to have Palo instead. Back then we had things to tend to for our daughter and we were too late to get into Palo.
I guess when our booking window opens we will try to get a reservation for Palo and then see what happens once on board. Sounds like many people with Palo reservations will have conflicts and try to move around.
    Thanks again.
