The Jets-

The Good - at least we did not loose to Oakland. Oh wait that will be next week

The Bad- Mark Sanchez. The Play calling (both sides of the ball), Rushing for over 200 yards and loosing, Dustin Keller, oh did I mention Mark Sanchez... way to go team

The Ugly- Typical Jets. First they give you a glimmer of hope (3 tough wins) then they get ugly (where has the tough blitzing D gone ? our QB looks like a bad rookie(sure he should get better but when), Sometimes the D looks spectacular, then it looks less than ordinary. then the QB throws more picks than Favre does with a bum shoulder (not mad at favre, just at how many INT's we keep pilling up year after year). I still like our coach, but REX when is the D gonna show up

oh well, maybe we will have a good draft next year...Oh wait tannenbaum tradded that away too...

Vikings

Good: Farve once again provides 4th quarter excitement

Bad: Only saw bits and pieces as I was flying today, but saw most of Saints/Giants. I understand because of the implications, but really?

Ugly: The AP game summary quoting "lots of luck" as to why the Vikes are 6-0. Really? Since when is football a game of luck?

1st and foremost- the vikings & New orleans are 6 & 0 because of playing well.
However luck has always factored into every game, for every team...wether it be good or bad, luck has won & lost games.
sometimes it is just plain luck as to how a ball bounces, when the wind suddenly picks up (causing an errant pass or missed field goal)...or even who gets that fumble, has an injury occur or any one of a dozen things.
I am not dimminishing the hard work that our fine players provide, but as the old saying goes "I would rather be lucky..."

The Titans: How in the heck did this happen?


The Good: Hard to find it. Maybe the draft order, but the team traded their second round pick last year. At least at 0-6 we will still outdraw the Jags.

The Bad: No emotion at all. Fisher stood there stoic as his team was wipped from the planet. It was the most embarresing day in the history of this once proud franchise! Some heads better roll after this. Someone anyone I just want some response other than "I don't know what happened we had a good week in practice."

The Ugly: Why is Vince even on the roster? If we have nothing better than Collins and Young to offer than this I say dump them both and pick up a free agent....now at least try and build starting immediatly. The season is over.

The good: The Panthers won their second game in a row, and I was there to see it.

The bad: It was against the (then) 0-5 Bucs. Anyone can beat the Bucs this year.

The ugly: Dante Wesley and his uncalled for hit on the Bucs punt returner who had signaled fair catch. Wesley should be fined and fined big!

The first televised live superbowl game shown in the UK was the Raiders v Redskins ( Black Sunday i think its known as ) ...

So they gave the background to the teams and as i was at an impressionable age ..The bad boy image did appeal ( plus the name sounds brill ) ....

Looking back its a shame.. i wish it was the New England Patriots that were playing that night hahaha

In all honesty, unless the Saints jump out to an early lead I think the Phins are built to beat a team like that. Think of the superbowl between the Bills and the Giants. The Bills scored every time they touched the ball, but the Giants ground it out and controlled the clock.

Our running game can keep Brees off the field and out of the end zone.

We shall see.

Well I mean ... you guys relied on a missed field goal to win this week. You don't consider that luck? It certainly didn't have anything to do with the Vikings play! They tried their hardest to give the game away at the end.

Honestly, I think the Vikes are overrated. They really haven't beaten anybody good. Three of their wins came against Cleveland (1-5), Detroit (1-5), and St. Louis (0-6).

We'll learn a lot about the Vikings this week when they play the Steelers. If they win that game, then I'll believe.

In all honesty, unless the Saints jump out to an early lead I think the Phins are built to beat a team like that.

I'm not sure it's for the same reasons, but I actually like the Dolphins to beat the Saints this weekend, too. I just think the Saints are in a bad spot. Coming off a huge conference win against the Giants and playing on the road against an out-of-conference team like the Dolphins. It's a classic trap game.

Plus, I think people are still wondering if the Dolphins are as good as their record or not, so it's possible the Saints might be looking past them to a huge Monday night divisional game against the Falcons.
