    Default 7 countries

    Here's the scenario:
You are staying at WDW for seven nights, and dining at a different country in World Showcase each night.
Which 4 countries do you choose to leave out?

Hmmm....you'll get some interesting responses to this one, I'm sure. For me, my responses are based on my personal tastes, as there are some types of food I just don't care for. I would omit:

    Morocco
    Italy
    Norway
    France

My DH is quite picky and not very adventerous when it comes to new things.

Ok, because I am VERY simple minded, my list is of the places that I WOULD have to go to....

    Japan - sushi and drinks
    Canada - Cheese soup!!!!
    Moracco - taste of everything!
    England - great view
Mexico - but, would sit at the Cantina de San Angel in the evening and (I'm cheating here) use the sit down at Norway for character breakfast
France - because I've never had a sitdown meal there - yes, it's true!
China - must have Dim Sum

Yeah, this is easy for us.

    Would leave out:

    America
    Morocco
Mexico (Lived in Arizona too long...good mexican there. Not impressed with San Angel)
    Germany

Many of you have said that you'd skip Norway. We rather like Norway. The salad bar is great (cheeses, sliced meats like ham, all you can eat shrimp...), and there are some really good items on the menu, if you're at all open with your food tastes. The Chicken Breast and Pork Chop are very good, but I usually get the Traditional Kjottkake. It's really a lot like a Salisbury Steak or Meat Loaf. It's tasty. Even our kids (DS 12, DD 9, and DD 4) enjoy eating here.

We've tried all the pavilions, but we've never eaten at Bistro de Paris or the other Japanese restaurant (we've done Teppan Edo...what's the other dining option there besides the Yakitori House?)

Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!

    I would leave out:

    Morocco
    Norway
    Mexico
    Germany

I would LOVE to go to:

    Canada - yummmm!
    Italy - my heritage!
France - always wanted to try Les Chefs
    China - loved Nine Dragons
    Japan - yummmm
Been there, Haven't done it all...GOING BACK!!!

Next trip "Home" - September 3-10th 2016 at the Beach Club Resort! Giannas 1st trip to WDW!!!

    1) America - nothing but burgers, and you can get that at any burger joint.

    2) Mexico - I live in Mexican food paradise, and I think San Angel food stinks. You can get better ANYWHERE.

    3) China - like a PP said, you can get good chinese at home and for much cheaper.

    4) Germany - you can get the same type of food at the counter service for lunch.

Don't listen to these other poster. Norway is great. I was scared to go there, but their food is as good as any other country.

As a previous poster said, I too enjoy Norway very much.

    But I would leave out:

Morocco - never interested my tastebuds
America - already live in America
Italy - don't care for Italian food
China - only because I had to pick a fourth one

On the other 7 this is how I would go: (not that you asked )

    Germany
    Japan
    Mexico
    France
    UK
    Norway
    Canada

    103 days to go!

    America
    Mexico
    China
    ....
    and probably Norway.

Although, I've already dined at Morocco, Canada, Italy, and will be trying Germany next month. We've eaten in Norway, but only breakfast, so I might be tempted to give it a shot for dinner sometime. But it's not on my short list of must-try places.

Mexico - Lived in Colorado and ate lots of good Mexican food, not sure it could compare

America - Can get it anywhere

Norway - We live in western WI where there are lots of Norwegians and their food. Frankly I'm not much of a fan

Japan - DH won't even try Japanese food (even though I know he'd like it --ughhhhhh!)
