    Default Live from Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort!

    We're here! We arrived yesterday flying into Savannah from New Jersey. The ride to the resort was only 40 mins or so. We got our requested water/marsh view and it is lovely. I'm sitting on our porch now, watching the pelicans, boats and cranes. It is breathtaking. They tell us the resort is full but I can't believe it. You can hear only the sounds of the island. The villa is huge, we have a 2 BR and it is very much like the villas at Wilderness Lodge. Only better. We have a private porch with a picnic table and 2 rocking chairs. We started our trip with a short bicycle ride to the beach and checked out Disney's Beach house and the beach itself. Beautiful. Today we slept in, will spend the day at the beach, a local dive seafood restaurant tonight, and a campfire at the resort to end our day along with smores. We booked a private dolphin tour tomorrow at sunset, and a kayaking tour on the marsh later in the trip. We also booked the Star Spangled BBQ at the resort for the holiday. There will be a pool party and fireworks too! The resort is just beautiful! We have a huge live oak right beside our porch! Thanks for reading!

    I'm glad you're enjoying our favorite resort. Which building are you in? We usually stay in 1 BRs, so haven't gotten outside the Main Lodge building more than a couple times. Where have you eaten?
