When is San Angel reopening?

Trying to plan our August trip. Anyone knows if this will be open?

I think I heard that they put the refurb on hold again. Not sure. We were there last week. We just wanted a drink- they have real mango puree in the margaritas inside vs the frozen juice ones outside. They let us have a table inside. We thought it was so nice that we split an appetizer, too. Duck soft tacos, pretty good actually. It looked like a completely new menu.

Really? A new menu? I think those tacos you mentioned sound great!

Wow- I knew nothing about this! We have an ADR for our anniversary there this Friday- can anyone confirm for sure that they are open?

I just read that they're still planning on closing sometime in mid-late May. I'm not sure for how long. They should still be open for your anniversary, Tina. Not sure about August for Lisa.

I called last week and they said that the referb was cancelled. Not postponed, but cancelled. They assured me it would be open when I go in mid June.

Nope. I confirmed it again. They say they WILL be open continuously and they are taking ADR's for all dates...
