    Default Ok I'm weird but...

...I have wondered every time I see the CBJ if the liquid in Trixie's glass, which i know isn't real wine by the way, ever is refreshed during refurb or if the thing is sealed. I mean, I've seen that show many times since I was a kid 30+ *cough* years ago and that peculiar thought goes through my mind nearly every time. Believe me, I have a thousand weird questions to ask; my mind just comes up with them on its own. It's a gift, I know. But I thought I'd start with this one, so any ideas?

Try this one: We noticed that in one of the stops on the Carousel of Progress, the father figure was wearing two left shoes. And isn't wonderful that they travel almost 100 years, and the only one's that really age are the kids...we could only be so lucky.

That two left shoe thing has been bothering us for quite some time. My Mom noticed it first, but my whole family focuses on such things.
As for Trixie's wine, I've always figured it was refilled frequently (it would surely evaporate some) and she must take a sip now and again when we aren't looking

I would venture to guess that it's sealed!

Trust me, your not alone! I think of these random things too and little things bug me. Like why isn't the ceiling in IASW covered in black cloth or something? When you look up you see an industrial drop ceiling!

I've never noticed the 2 left shoes thing on COP! Is it in all the scenes?!

I was impressed by that, particularly how the dog is still going strong 100 years later. I'm going to put it down to living in WDW, the pixie-dust must have some magic anti-aging properties to it.

I think there must be a genetic link somewhere that has some of us gifted, and others just confused by our gifts.

OMG! First a group that love's Disney as much as I do and now a sub-group that picks up on weird things like the wine in Trixie's glass and two left shoes, just like I do. I love Intercot!

I was wondering about Trixie's glass when we were there last time, but was too embarassed by my own weirdness to post.

This post is one of the main reasons I love the site so much. Not only is it filled with people who not only understand, but share my Disney obsession, but now I come to find out that I'm not the only crazy person who looks for stuff like this?!

At the Muppet show....there's a sign that says they are gone, but will be back and a key is under the mat.....Look under the welcome mat when you get there....yes, my friends, there is a key.

Wow! You guys have no idea how nice it is to realize that I am not the only one who notices odd things here and there. I mean, if it wasn't for Intercot, we would all be wandering through the parks with odd thoughts popping into our heads and no one to share them with that wouldn't call those nice men in the white jackets I know there's the mousellaneous forum on here, but we should start one that just talks about weird stuff we notice that no one else does I salute you, my fellow Intercotees! You all are Number

I was at a magic/joke shop once that had a wine glass where the glass was double layered and the liquid inbetween. That way the glass looked like it was full and could slosh and/or spill, but would always just stay between the layers. I always thought it was just something like that. (fun thread!)
