Park Hopper is a must for us. With it you can change your plans at the last minute and go to another park. Like others have pointed out with the hopper option you can hop to another park just for dinner. With free dining the hopping option is even more important. I would hate to be locked into any given park for the day because I had dinner reservations there.

Park hopper is one of those great bargains for us. We hop almost everyday. Great flexibility. We can have dinner ressies in Epcot any day and go to any park we choose. We often got to AK for a couple of things, then off to MGM for 1 or two favorites and end up at Epcot for dinner. Scenarios like that happen almost everyday of our trip. Never would be without them.

Park hoppers are a must for us too. We don't use them every day, but it's a wonderful option to have. And I think DH figured out that if we only use it twice on this next trip it will have paid for itself - and I'm confident we'll use it more than twice.

We've bought parkhoppers the last two years and probably only used them a couple of times. I do like the flexibility it gives you, but we've decided to bypass them this year and save the $200+ for "extras".

We figure it's a good test of our park and dining planning skills. And if we decide we absolutely can't get by without them, we can always add it once we're there.

We always get Park Hoppers. The added flexibilty is pricesless for us. If a park is too crowded or we finish early, we just pop over somewhere else.

We also tend to go to EPCOT every evening for dinner.

Every year we get the hopper option-we've never used them once! This year I am not getting them, but I do feel like we have a safety net. We can always add them on if something comes up!

We would never consider NOT getting a park hopper. Life is so much easier, stress free with a park hopper. You can come and go as you choose between parks. It is sooo much nicer to take this approach rather than say standing in line for Soarin' for 2+ hours because you must experience it that particular day because you do not have a parkk hopper.

We always park hop. I can't even imagine being confined to one park per day. I like to redo my favorite attractions at will and mix it up. We need to be able to go into any park at any time. We're not there enough to limit ourselves to one park per day. We like the whole world to be open to us at any given time. It's worth the extra money, and it's not that much more to hop for the pleasure and possibilities it provides.

I think Park Hopping option is a must! Especially with some of the evening shows limited to specific nights. We like to repeat our fav's and so we might not start out in that park but end our nights in another with the shows we want to see. Also, ressies for dinning options may make it necessary to park hop, IMHO!

I don't think I've ever not gotten the park hopper option. And I very seldom stay in just one park for the whole day. If one closes early, we pop over to another one.

We got it the last time we were there and only used it once. So for us, it wasn't worth it. So we didn't get it for our trip in May!

We opted to not get park hoppers this year as well. I think if your trip is at least 4 or 5 days the hopper is not really neccessary because you will have plenty of time to spend in each park. We have always had park hoppers and hardly ever used them. To us it seems more hectic and time consuming to hop but I suppose if you only have 2 or 3 days in the parks then it would be worth it so that you could visit all 4 parks.
We decided to save the extra cash this year and will see how we like it!

It really depends upon how you are planning to tour the parks. DW and I will hop on at least 3 occasions during our ten day trip. So for us it is worth the hopper. She has an AP and I have the 10 day hopper. I chose not to get the water parks and more option because we will go only once to a water park.

I can't imagine not having the hopper. I think I would feel suffocated without the hopper.

We have alays used hoppers and they have served us well. They're easily worth the extra $50 to us. If we were going for a short trip (three days or less) we might not buy them, but we have always been for at least a week.

we're in the "pro hopper" category as well....both DS and AK are half day parks for us...and on our last day we always hit a couple of parks to redo our favorities.

At first, I did not get the Park Hopper option and planned ALL of our ADR's around what park we were visiting on what day. Then I found that I had a little extra cash and decided to add the PH Option. I kept our ADR's the same, but I didn't plan on any EMH's...now, if my dd7 can stay up late and we feel like going to an evening EMH we can!

I kept feeling like I really wanted the flexibility.

Just to play devil's advocate here a bit, does anyone ever feel like if they've paid for the hopper option, they have to hop to get their monies worth? And how long would you guess it takes you to get from one park to another?

We didn't get the park hopper option for our recent trip and I have no regrets. My kids are small and we often only spent a half day in a given park anyway.

Now next time we go and the kids are older and have more stamina we will def. get that option-if only to open up our dining options. Like other posters I would like to eat at Epcot every evening
