Default Places you'd like to visit

I was thinking the other day of places I'd really like to visit in my life, kinda like a vaction bucket list. These are some I came up with:

    1. World War II sites in Europe likeNormandy, France and Belgium - Visit the beaches of the D-Day invasion, the American Cemetary in Colleville, and the towns the paratrooper dropped into like Ste. Mère Eglise. While in France, I would visit Disneyland Paris. Also, I'd like to visit Bastogne to see where the Battle of the Bulge took place.

    2. Disneyland in California - Gotta see where it all started.

    3. Monomoy Island, MA and Montauk, NY - I like to fish for striped bass. At Monomoy Island, you can sight cast for striped bass in a t-shirt. And Montauk may be the most famous striped bass spot on the coast.

    4. Bethlehem - Being a Christian, I''d like to take a trip to see the birthplace of Jesus.

Anyone else want to put up there list?

Who's been to the places I listed?
    Bern

    WDW - 85,88,89,96,08,10,12,13,16,18,19
Universal - Cabana Bay, May 2019

August 2020 - Port Orleans Riverside

Wow, I saw the words "Bucket List" I had to read your post! I loved that movie & what a great thread!

DH & I really want to visit Disney Land, to see where it all began, with Walt's original plan! How awesome that will be when we finally make it there!

I am part Irish and I read alot of romance type novels & my fav author chooses Ireland for the setting of many of her books & I really want to visit and see the beauty of that land for myself!

Anyplace really warm & tropical, Hawaii, Jamaica, the Caribbean, etc., would just be like a slice of heaven to me!

France - I studied French for 2 years and I love reading about & seeing pictures of France, I'd love to see this place filled with so much history!

    Thanks for the lovely thoughts!

Austria, it's a country that I've wanted to visit for a very long time.

Australia, we may someday have the opportunity to spend a year there for DH's job.

Egypt, I'd love to see the pyramids up close. I think I watch every show that's on about the pyramids.

Now that my husband and I have hit up Hawaii, here's the rest of our list in no particular order:

    Venice
    Florence
    Rome
    Milan
    Ireland in general
    London
    Australia in general
San Diego & Beverly Hills/Anaheim (we haven't been since we were children)
    Alaska in general
    National Redwood Forest
Back to Hawaii for as long as possible!!

We keep saying to ourselves we're going to have to stop these yearly Disney trips if we're ever going to save enough money to go to some of these other places !

Want to take the kids on family trips someday to:

    - Yellowstone
    - Philadelphia (DH grew up there)
    - Washington DC
    - NYC at Christmas time
    - Disney Cruise
    - Hawaii, maybe Kuaui Island but also Pearl Harbor

Any overseas places would be a big plus, just don't have a specific one on my radar right now.

There are so many places I would like to visit.

Our next trip is to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Anaheim along with Disneyland for a total of 18 days so that is 3 places off my list.

    Now in no particular order:
Europe - pretty much all of the countries would be good, with a side of Disney Paris
    Mediterranean area
New York City - to see the Macy's Christmas Parade
    Eastern Carribbean Islands
    Arizonia and the Grand Canyon
    Africa for a safari adventure
I would like to take my DH and DS to England. I have been a couple of times before they came into my lives, but they have not.
And while we are at it, why not throw in Hawaii.

Wow, not only do we have the same name, but I was going to put Ireland and France in my post, LOL.

I also want to go to Tuscany/Rome/Venice (well, I guess the whole Country of Italy). I lived in Germany as a kid, I remember it being so quaint. Been to Hawaii, you all must have it on your list, it is breathtaking!(My grandma is from there). Someday I want to go to China and Eastern Europe.

Big one in US for me is California-Disneyland and San Francisco/Wine Country and Montana/ Idaho (my dh grew up there).

Hope we all get to where we want to go! You should also visit Atlanta if you have never been here and take a tour of the old plantation homes and Sherman's Civil War Walk.

There's so many, it's hard to think of them all!
I've been all over the U.S. but would like to go back as an adult, especially to Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone, Glacier N.P., Rocky Mountain N.P., Mt. Rushmore, all over Florida, back to Maine and the rest of New England, Niagra Falls, NYC, Nashville, D.C., Mt. Washington, etc.

    For places I haven't been:
all over CA, WA, and OR
    Hawaii
    Alaska
some parts of Mexico (I'm a history major)
    Egypt
    the Caribbean
    Russia
    China
all of Europe, especially the UK, Italy, and Greece
the Holy Lands (if it was ever safe enough not to freak out my mom)

I have a goal to visit all 50 states. Just 8 away, with Hawaii coming in a few months.

After that, I most want to visit England, Germany, Austria and France (to finish our worldwide tour of Disney parks).

Wow-- just realized as I was reading this lists how blessed I've been. Think I've been to about 90% of the composite bucket list. Still plenty of places to see though. Think my choices would be
    1) Machu Pichu Peru
    2) Ayers Rock Australia
    3) New Zealand
    4) Antarctica
    5) Been there briefly but more time in Ireland would be great.
