There's no place "off-site", other than the Comfort Suites Paradise Island to stay that offers access to Atlantis. There's a day pass but it's $105 per person per day, so it's not really a practical option, and it's not always offered.

Beware that it VERY hard to trade into Harborside except during hurricane season.

The 2.5 year old will have lots of fun. The big slides are off-limits, but s/he can ride with you on the lazy river and go in all pools.

Just wanted to thank MidnTPK and DVC2004 for their replies. They were both really helpful. I figured that it was hard to trade in Then again, I didn't even realize there was a timeshare in Atlantis (I know you have to take the shuttle there) until I read this thread. Hoping the fact that it is Hawaii will help me out. It did for BWV so maybe I will get lucky again. Thanks again for all of your help. I learn so much here.
