The only ticket discount for DVC members is on annual passes, and members may only get the discount for APs for family members who reside at the same address as the member.
However, it looks like it is open to the "in-laws" too! And I hope that they are not residing at my address!!!
Who is defined as "immediate family"?
"Immediate family" is defined by Walt Disney World Resort for discount purposes as noted below: Spouse/Registered Domestic Partner, Parent/Step Parent, Mother-In-Law/Father-In-Law, Child/Step Child, Brother/Stepbrother, Sister/Stepsister, Brother-In-Law/Sister-In-Law, Grandparent, and Grandchild.
Never mind, I saw the "same residence" thing. I can't picture my in-laws living at my place... Oye ve!
Now I have to find out if I can get them a discount on a round of golf... (anybody know about this one?)

Reason: Found new info
Per the golf question. You can use your discount for yourself and up to three guests, but you have to purchase a $50 membership. You should ask your guide for Portable Perks Book, if you haven't gotten one already...its much easier to find DVC Perks in this book than the website.

This book is great, there were perks in here I had no idea even existed. It made the DVC purchase even cooler!
