New York Jets have a New Head Coach...

Anyone have any good or bad words on the former Ravens Defensive Coordinator and now the new Head Coach for the New York Jets ?

Anyone Have any idea why the New York Jets are still called "New York" - they practice & play in New Jersey, they no longer have any ties to "New York" financially or otherwise. I guess their afraid of calling themselves what they are - a New Jersey team. Not that they are likely to win a Superbowl anytime soon- but are they afraid of having to throw a party in the meadowlands parking lot as opposed to the giants parade in NYC?

Last but not least-

Wow the Arizona Cardinals are in the superbowl ! who would have thought ?

No thoughts on your new coach. But the league wants the NY name for match up sakes. It draws more attention worldwide than NJ.

Love the comment about meeting the Pres. in a few years...that's the right attitude.While I still don't like the 3-4 scheme Ryan plays it with a lot more pressure than Sutton did.He really attacks and comes after you.Look at what the Ravens defense has done over the past few seasons.As for the NY thing....I believe the Jets corporate HQ is still on Madison Ave. in NYC....could be wrong but in the past much of their correspondence has had that address on it.

Every single one of them.. And they were guaranteed to win the Super Bowl with Favre, but we know how that worked out... Maybe Ryan will do things that none of the other head coaches could do... But, NY christened Mangini a genius because of 1 season.. I say, relax before anointing them the next dynasty...
