Has anyone here ever booked a GTY room with DCL? We set sail in exactly 30 days ( ) and I'm so excited to see which cabin will be ours for our cruise! Wondering if they start assigning them soon, or if it will be a surprise when we get to the port.

We did! We just got our room assignments last week with our final paperwork! We ended up on Deck 6, Cat. 11 in the front (I don't remember the nautical term for it) in rooms 6007 and 6011 (which are next to each other). I am VERY happy as we are VERY close to the elevators and on a deck that is very close should we decide to take the stairs (just to justify more dessert, I imagine!).

Been to WDW more times than I can count since 1972. Stayed at BLT, AKV, WLV, SSR, POP, CBR, CR, FW Cabins, all the All Stars and also off site. Been to DL 3 times, 4 cruises on the Magic and went on the Dream Inaugural Cruise.
Well, we got our room assignments today! Woo hoo! Upgraded to a Catagory 11 (essentially the same room, just a different location) on deck 6, aft. I'm just so happy to know where I'm going to spend my cruise! I cant wait! 24 days till we get to WDW, and then just 3 more days later we board the Wonder!!! AHHHH!
