DD - 12 - turning into a very nervous traveler!

Plans:

5 Nights Poly
4 Nights Disney Wonder

Day 6 - MK with 2 yr old Nephew Ethan and my Mom and Stepdad!

You will have to bear with me a bit, as things are a little hazy now. We returned from this trip almost 2 months ago now!

Anyway, today we had a late start since my mom is never an early riser, and I had to get our laundry done prior to us leaving on our cruise on the following day. So I was up early and we all showered and I headed over to the laundry area. In no time I had 2 loads done and in the dryer and took our shirts back to the room to hang up for drying. I never put our tops in the dryer, so our room looked like a laundromat! Once all the laundry was done and I got the majority of our packing done, we were off to meet my family and head to MK, finally!

We meet them at the Poly's Grand Ceremonial House and we boarded the monorail. Ethan just loved riding this, we probably could have stayed on that all day and he would have been thrilled!

Once inside the park, we did IASW, Dumbo, PP, WtheP, the Carousel and Mickey's Philharmagic. Then we headed over to Toon Town where we met our friends Donald, Pluto, Goofy and Daisy. Ethan ran up to all the characters and just loved them all. He was scared to death of Goofy though, but we were able to get a picture with DD holding him. I guess he felt a little safer with her holding him! Too cute.

Then it was off to the teacups and DH ran off to SM to get FP for DD, DH and DStepdad for later. Once they were done on the Teacups we headed into Cosmic Rays for some refueling. For it being pretty crowded be were getting alot accomplished.

With our bellies full, we headed back to Toon Town and took the Disney Railroad to Frontierland. DD, DH, Dstepdad and I rode BTMRR (with FP I think!). Once we had our excitement on the mountain we headed to see Captain Jack!

DN enjoyed the ride, but not nearly as much as the gift shop! We must have spent nearly an hour in there. DD and DH wanted to get some pirate garb for pirate night on the cruise. Then DD was trying different hats on DN, and of course they had to pose for all of them. He found a Captain Hook hand and started using that as a microphone. With his captain jack hat on, Captain Hook hand microphone and ball and chain, made for a hilarious photo op!

We then headed over to HM, and surprise only a 20 minute wait, which seemed more like 10! This is my first time riding since the changes. I have to say that I liked most of the new things but missed a few as well. DD had her eyes closed during the entire ride, so she said she didn't think there were any changes! Go figure.

By this time we were getting a little hungry again so it was off to Columbia Harbour House for dinner, another first for us. We actually found the food to be very good.

With our bellies full once again, time was closing in on the end of the night so we headed over to the front of the Castle to secure our spot for Wishes. DD cried as usual and I was able to get some great pics.

The evening was over and we headed back to the Poly and said our goodnights. Off to bed for a much needed night of rest.
