The end of an era for Ariel @ DLR

Well this pass Sunday was the end of the meet and greet for Ariel at Disneyland from what I had read former and currtun [ms] Ariel's and other Disney character which the final meet with Ariel around 5:35pm. I had found a viedo on youtube with Ariel with Alice and Mad Hatter whiching her a goodbye.

As I have hear from today the walls are up and that the statues of Ariel and her dad are gone now. They are replacing Ariel's meet and greet with a meet and greet with Tinkerbelle and her Fairies in Oct. This was the last picture that I got with Ariel in July for my final meet and greet with her.

Even though Ariel can be seen at Princess Fantasy Faire and at her resturant in human form she will not been seen in mermaid form other then Fantasmic and Parade of Dreams again until the year 2010 when her new meet and greet will be built over on DCA side next to her new ride opening the same year. To me this is the sadest day of my life. Hope who ever that visted Disneyland and got to meet her there had a good time with her.

Seriously though, we did get to meet Ariel during both or our trips out there, and at least she will still around in other areas and eventually her brank spanking shiney new place once it's built over at DCA!

Ok Ice this is the second most sadest day of my life my friend Snow White is my first. Yes she be still around but not in Mermaid form for two years. Next month Fantasmic goes down until the end of Nov. and the Parade of dreams gose dark soon for the Christmas Fantasy Parade. The POD will not come back until sometime late in March. Cause what I have hear there going to tear up Main Street and redo the street and the horse tracks in Jan. So it's going to be a long time to see Ariel in mermaid form.

Guess you'll have to get your Ariel fix in her human form until later... I find it easier to stand next to her than try to squat my gigantic form down and squeeze it onto her lovely throne... but it does make for interesting pictures!

Whaddaya mean Figment is gone JP? I have pictures of him from my last trip and have sen people posting pictures from more recent trips than mine? Has he gone "Poof" again?
