Default Walking from HS to EPCOT?

Does anyone know the path to walk from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT? We will be there in October and would rather eat in EPCOT than HS. Or are there any good restaurants to walk to at the nearby hotels? Do you know how long the walk takes?

Don't know anything about a path to walk, but there is a boat that will take you from HS to Epcot.

Yes, I think we might take the boat on the way back. But, I'm concerned it might take too long on the way there, with all of the stops at the hotels. I thought it might be quicker to walk to EPCOT....

We walked that path from the BC to HS and also to EPCOT in November 04. It is very nice enjoyable walk. As far as places to eat, I really can't help you there too much, but we did eat at Beaches 'N' Cream which was alot of fun. The time that it took us walk I would say about 15-20, but not for sure. Enjoy whatever you decide.

As you leave HS, the walkway is on the right of the water near roadway. Its about 15 min to the Boardwalk Area which has some great restaurants (Spoodles, Flying Fish, ESPN). About another 5-7min gets you to the International Gate entrance to Epcot. Really a very nice walk and not too crowded. You can often beat the boat to Epcot since it has 3 stops on the way.

My DW and I have done the walk before. During October, it should be really nice. We also arrived about the same time the boat arrived. The nice part about the walk is that you can look at the Boardwalk area and stop and enjoy it some.

If you don't mind a 20 minute stroll and if it isn't too hot, I would take the walk over the boat.

    Have fun...we leave on Wednesday.

yep if you are crunched for time the boat that takes you from dhs to the resorts is s-l-o-w. its a great boat ride if you have the time - the path is a very nice walk and its lit up at night if you'll be walking at night - i would say its gonna take you about 15 - 20 min to walk to the boardwalk and then about another 5-10 to get to epcot

You can view the route here. The gmap puts it at about 1.22 miles, from the front of HS to the International Gateway.

You can cut it a little shorter - this route goes around Boardwalk, and you can cut through it, saving maybe 3-5 minutes. On previous trips, pushing a stroller, it has taken us about 15-20 minutes, tops.

In May 2007, we took the boat to the Swan and Dolphin stop and then walked the rest of the way to the International Gateway at Epcot. It was our first time and DH didn't think our DSs and one DD would make the whole walk so we opted to do half and half. It was a lot of fun and I plan on doing it again in the future. If you are in a hurry though, I would suggest you just walk it.
