    It's to avoid error.

One time Carri got all excited and had the wrong number on her paddle. It was corrected after the commercial break. Hence, they give their scores before revealing them to the dancers and public.

I remember that now! Holding them accountable makes sense, but it sure is a flurry of activity right there at the end.

    Thanks for clarifying that guys!

I really enjoyed the "festivities" tonight. The top dances show was great - although I don't agree with the number one.

Loved seeing Mel and Maks and Julianne and Apolo back on the dance floor. In fact, they both gave me goosebumps.

Mario himself had kind of grown on me. He seems like a nice guy. Unfortunately he had the bad luck of being paired with Karina. I wish she wouldn't come back next season.

Love Apolo and Julianne, they are by far the best couple ever on this show, they have something really special. It was fun to watch the old dances, b/c I hadn't seen the first couple season, I liked Stacy Kiebler, she reminded me of Shannon, but was more graceful. I miss Shannon and Derek. Raiders, I feel the same about the finale. Crack up when Len calls Bruno Sunshine.

I, too, enjoyed Julianne/Apolo and Mel/Max. They are such great dancers. I was sad to see Mario go; but glad to see Karina go. I don't know of anyone who likes her and I hope she doesn't come back next season.

All I could think when they said that the Mario (the first)/Karina tango was the number favorite was that had to have been how they were able to get Mario and the whole crew from a Broadway show to fly all the way to LA.

There were so many better dances that could have been #1! Quite frankly that one, I didn't even remember! I was hoping Julianne/Apollo's Samba or Jerry Rice's freestyle would have been in the top 10.

As for Karina, someone should tell her that making faces, rolling her eyes, flipping her hair is very poor sportsmanship! Mario was much more gracious!

I am definitely pulling for Jason...especially after I heard about what he did for Christian...calling the Dolphins trainers for special braces for him, helping him all week with his arm! He exemplifies good role model and class! And it is about time Etyna won!

I am married into a "skating" family and not rooting for Kristi...my mother in law...is just horrified lol!

Wendy, I agree on the #1 dance, in fact the Tango they did was awesome (Apollo and Julianne) heck, I loved every dance they did. He is soooo cute, they both are (can you tell I'm a big fan!) I really love Jason, he is such a good guy and they are such a great team, but I love Mark too, it's just not fair how they are so far over everyone, I mean her little twirls she does, totally got that from maybe skating

Just for the record the UK version Len is seen as the good guy on the show while a person called Craig Revell Horwood is seen as Mr Nasty ....
But i had a feeling that Mario was going out this time

I'm very happy with the final 3! It was sad Marisa had to go, but it was her time. Bring on the finale!

I am very happy that Marisa made it as far as she did. Her enthusiasm was off the charts. It was fun watching somebody enjoy the process as much as she did. I hope Kristi takes it all!!!

There just doesnt' seem to be as much interest here in this season as in previous ones. I'm still loving it though!

As much as I like Jason (and Edyta), he just hasn't impressed me as much in the last few weeks.

I'm here to say I'm on the girl power wagon! I do hope Kristi wins.

I was happy to see Kristi win. Prior to this season I had never watched an entire episode of Dancing with the Stars. Adam, Marlee, Marissa and Kristi actually got me to watch several episodes this season. I would have been happy with any of them doing well.

2 hour finale. wow about 1 hour too long. I'm OK with Kristi winning. she was by far the best dancer on the show all year. even the week they decided she needed to be taken down a notch for no reason. can you say conspiracy?
What I'm concerned with was how bad Usher was lip singing. At least move your lips when you're singing.

I was thinking the same thing but didn't know if I was crazy or not. I couldn't figure out how Usher was singing some and not singing at other times unless he was lip singing and couldn't believe he would be so obvious at it. What bad showmanship! I thought any one of the three could have won. They were all great!
