Just returned from 8 days at wilderness lodge Feb 1-8

Well I'm sorry to be back but all good things must come to an end.
Here's what happened on our trip.We left Philly at 700am in the rain arrived at mco at 945am to sunny skys.we used the ME for the first time this trip. i thought it was very efficent.The only thing I think Disney could do better is have more people directing you where to go to catch the bus.
We arrived at the WL at 11am check in was fast and our room was ready 6061 courtyard(more on that later)The room was clean and nice not as dark as people complain about.I don't like bright lights anyway.The reason the bathrooms are a little dark is because they use curved shower curtain rods to give more room.If you just open the curtain there's plenty of light,Besides all that's in there to look at is the toilet and bath.
We were hungry and it was 75 degrees so we put on our bathing suits and headed down stairs for lunch and a swim.
We had the meal plan for 7 days and were staying for 8.I thought the meal plan was well worth it for a family of four.In fact we ended up with extra at the end of our trip here's how.For some reason the counter services didnt count our meals as adult and children.I dont know why but the count started at 28 meals and went down so we got the kids 1 adult meal which they spilt everyday and ended up with 7 extra at the end of the trip which we used on day 8.
So we at swam went back to the room got dressed and headed over to the magic kingdom for dinner at the crystal palace.some rides and the fireworks.(by the way the crowds were light for all the parks except Tuesday which was the start of Mari grau).More to come....

There used to be Disney people on hand at the airport to guide folks to the Magical Express counter. Unfortunately, Orlando airport no longer allows Disney to do this.

Really? When did that change happen? I could barely find the DME counter on my last trip even WITH the people with the Mickey hands!
