Default Where would you not dine again

So many posts about which are our favorite places to eat.

    This got me thinking:

Is there anywhere you plan not to dine again? If so, why.

Mine is San Angel In. I love the atmosphere and Mexican food so I had high hopes.

Service was really pretty bad adn I honestly think the food I can get at my local restaurant is much better.

I would have to say Coral Reef. The food was pretty good, but the service was slow and awful. I guess that has just stuck with me and I have had no desire to go back!

Mama Melrose - bad service, worse food

Cantina de San Angel (CS place in Mexico pavillion) - had the Plato Combanacion and they may as well have given me a bowl of grease.

Chefs de France.....Soup and flatbread were great, but the main courses and desserts were just plain bad. Service was pretty good. Overall it was a big disappointment (and an expensive one at that).

Sci-fi was really great to look at but not even up to the standards of an Applebees, foodwise.

Garden Grill, I got after eating there once. I know it was just one of those things but I can't bring myself to eat there again.

Marrakesh- We're very adventurous eaters, but there were 6 of us and none of us would go back (didn't like the sweet/meat & spices combination).

Chefs de France- We love the food in France (real one), but not here...disappointing. Service was excellent.

I'm not saying that I "wouldn't dine @ Sci-Fi again" it wasn't bad, but I would like to see some menu changes in there. To me, the menu didn't seem to fit the atmoshpere. When I'm at a drive in, I want burgers, fries, personal pizzas, nachos, sandwiches, not steak and fancy items. I got some kinda like seared tofu w/ rice and it was actuctually SUPER good, but the whole time I just felt like it didn't fit. If I was gonna pay $20 for fancy tofu I would want it in a ... let's say different kind of atmospher than SciFi, I felt like while sitting in the SciFi atmosphere, I would have prefered pay $10-$15 for a veggie burger. But that's just me.
Ooo, actually maybe I take it back, I just checked the most recent menu and they do seem to now have more "drive in" food than I necessarily remember but there's still many options that don't fit in w/ the place.

    Ditto!

Also, we will never eat dinner at Norway again. Loved the princesses but the food and service was lacking. Next time we will just do breakfast.

I second that. We were fans of it a few years back, but about a year ago we had horrible HORRIBLE food (every single course tasted like it had been frozen and re-heated) my water tasted like bleach! (I think it was a dishwasher issue, but I didn't realize it until it was too late and I ended up getting violently sick later that day) and when I (politely) mentioned my issues to my server, he was outright rude! We right there and then canceled 2 different reservations we had already booked there for future trips and will never step foot in there again!

Ours is Mama Melroses at DHS. The one time we ate there the food was cold, the service slow, and it took forever to get our Fantasmic package. One really bad time is all it takes. There are so many other wonderful restaurants why should I take a chance on one that was horrible on our last time there.

I would not go to the Sci-Fi again. At least not for dinner! The food was AWFUL! On the other hand, the atmosphere was really cool!

I think Donald's Breakfastausaurus has gone the way of the dinosaurs and good riddance. I got after it one morning. I actually think it was the orange juice. We were at the first sitting of the day and I think it was left over from the previous day. My father in law got sick as well and we were the only ones drinking OJ from that caraffe. Watch out for those first sittings at a buffet...

For poor service and bad food experiences:
    Coral Reef
    Rainforest Cafe
    Boatwright's
    Kona Cafe

And Biergarten, though it was good and a nice atmosphere and service, just because once is enough for me there.

I'd never return to Nine Dragons. I've written too much about this restaurant on these boards, but I'll say it again. We can get better Chinese food on our street corner for literally more than half the price.

Also, the only reason I'd go back to the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is if I was with a newbie who just wanted the experience. The atmosphere is cool. The food stinks.

    San Angel for me.

The family and I were so excited to eat there again during our trip in August. We actually chose it for our first sit down meal of our trip.

Needless to say we were quite disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful but the service and the food was subpar to say the least. We were always looking for our waiter, who was nowhere to be found and the food had no taste to it at all.

And to top it all off we has asked if we could sit at an open table we saw right next to the River. We told the hostess we would be more than happy to wait a bit longer if need be. We were told that it was a table for 6 not 4 so we couldn't sit there. 5 minutes later the hostess seated a family of 4 at the exact same table.

All in all a very disappointing experience to say the least.
