    Question Anniversary Surprise Ideas?

After hemming and hawing at where to stay (we chose the WL), I've finally booked our 5 Year Anniversary Trip for April!!

Besides ordering something from Disney floral, any ideas on something special/unique to surprise hubby with? It doesn't necessarily have to be material, but maybe an experience as well.

    Thanks!

(Mods, if I'm posting in the wrong forum, please move as appropriate and sorry in advance!!)

You might get a few ideas here.

How about a spa treatment? Rent a float boat, pack a lunch and cruise around the lake. Make reservations for a special dinner for two. Sit on the beach at the Poly and watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdon.

I booked a spa treatment and the backstage tour at the AK for my husband when we celebrated our 20th anniversary. I knew he'd be a little freaked about the massage, so I didn't tell him about it until that morning at breakfast. He had the sports massage, which is the deep tissue and ended up loving it. From there, we spent the rest of the afternoon watching football in the lounge of the ESPN club. I don't think he could have been any more relaxed.

There are some great tours as well. As I mentioned, we did the behind the scenes at the AK. He could also swim in the big tank at the Living Seas in Epcot (no diving experience needed) if something like that appeals to him.

The private dining department of the WL also offers specialty food items, if you'd prefer that to the flowers. They can do chocolate Mickeys, tuxedo strawberries, champagne, anniversary cake, etc. I can get you that number if you'd like.

Food! My surprise for our anniversary trip coming up is the planning of all our ADRs.

I went through all the menus under info central and made ADRs at places that serve his favorite. In his case it is Chinese, sushi and his favorite soup...french onion.

When they say the key to a man's heart is through his stomach, they weren't kidding with mine. Perhaps yours is the same?

Maybe look at a few menus and read up on some real romantic locations. My favorite has to be California Grill, because of the view. We have that booked the first night there!

In regards to experiences outside of food, I have heard excellent things with the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Or perhaps look under Info Central's category Recreation. There is information on fishing, boating and the amazing golfing you can do there.

The options are endless at DW.

First of All Congrats on celebrating your Aniversary!

    Here some ideas:
Rent the Grand 1, from the Grand Floridian Docks.

Go to Victoria and Alberts for dinner.

Walk hand in hand down Main Street USA.

Ride the Thunder Mountain Railroad in the rain.

Well, that's what we did for our anniversary.

Be sure to get your anniversary button!

    Have a wonderful time.

We took a Wishes fireworks cruise on our honeymoon, and loved it. They pick you up at your resort, and it is just you two and the driver. Maybe something like that would be nice for you
