Today we were up and headed for Epcot (my favorite park-everyone else's least favorite). Of course, upon entering the park we headed straight for Soarin...along with everyone else. It was kind of funny how they made it like a parade winding through the land down to Soarin. After a short wait DFIL was experiencing Soarin for the first time...he really enjoyed it. After Soarin we headed to The Living Seas to ride the new Nemo ride. Well, quess what? Just as we were about to enter our clam mobiles we were met by the Dream Team! I couldn't believe it...we got the ears. DD was on She was really hoping to get a dream...she proudly wore her ears all week long. She really relished in people asking her where she got her special ears. After nemo(not a very exciting ride...but it will always have a special place since we won a dream.) we headed to Turtle Crush...love this!! We then went to Mission Space(green) and Test Track. Then it was on to the World Showcase. Tried a last ditch effort to try to get into LeCellier...they pretty much just laughed at me. All week we witnessed people who purchased the Dining Plan but didn't make ADR's and they couldn't get in anywhere...people were not happy. I made our ADR's in May but was never able to secure LeCellier. Anyways we ended up eating at, surprise, surprise, America. After lunch we left the park and went to DisneyQuest again so DH and DS could see what it was all about. Much better time to go then on Saturday night. No crowd at all. I really think this is a must do if you have teens, especially boys. I really think I must be getting old because the virtual raft ride made me really DD and DS still liked the Virtual Coaster the best. After DisneyQuest we headed for our ADR at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe. I got to have sushi...yum. I thought the food selection was good at this restaraunt...interesting things...my only complaint is that the place was really loud. After dinner we strolled through the Westside, Pleasure Island, and then hit the Marketplace for some shopping. It started to pour on the way there and we got stuck in Legoland for quite a while then we made a run for World of Disney. Before we left for vacation I had given each of the kids Disney giftcards and as it turns out I had left them at the resort, so they couldn't purchase anything. They were not pleased. Since we couldn't buy anything we called it a night. Man it was really storming...couldn't get over the lightening...it was a show in itself.
All in all it was a great day!
