    Smile Moderate hands down

I would definitely do the Moderate for 5 days versus the Value for 7 days. Personally, I prefer quality over quantity especially when it comes to dining and accommodations. This is a good question! Thanks for posting.

It's all about the length of stay! We don't stay at the resort long enough to make that kind of difference!

I would definately go with the longer stay. The longer I can stay at Disney, the better.

I'll always go for the longer stay. And while I am looking forward to trying out the a deluxe resort (YAY - WL next time), we think the values are great and have no problem staying there.

I would prefer the mod. resort. More of a vacation type accomodation, without the huge crowds that the value resorts bring.

Can I vote for Deluxe for 3 nights? (just kidding - kinda - but I have to admit, that is what I would vote for, if offered!)

Since we do spend time at the resort during our stay we definitely would go with quality over quantity.

Just spent 7 days off-site and found it to be too much. Truth be told, the daily commute to and from had much to do with it! But, my philosophy is to leave BEFORE I am ready, that way I am in the mood to start planning my next visit as soon as I get home! So my preference would be nicer but shorter.

We love to relax by the pool, sit and people watch while having a drink and snack, strolling the plush, landscaped paths in the early evening, it all adds up to a more relaxed vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth. The Value resorts are too loud and not as peaceful as the moderates (can y'all tell that I like a peaceful environment).
Thanks for posting exactly what I was thinking! I'm just a much bigger fan of the mods than the values.

I had to vote for the moderate...as much as I love Disney, I just can't stand the hustle and bustle of the values for a whole week!

I had to go with the Value. We spend so little time in our room that it isnt worth it for us to upgrade. We would rather pay less and stay more days.

5 nights versus 7??? No contest!! Maybe if it were between on site and off site? But on site, the more the merrier!!!

I voted for the wrong one... But, with the lopsided totals, it doesn't matter... I would have normally chose 7 nights at a value over 5 nights at a moderate... I rather stay there longer...

While it would depend on who I was travelling with, I assumed it was for a family trip (since that's what most of ours are) and went with the 7 days in a value. We love Pop.

If I could ever get DH to take a trip for just the two of us, I would love to stay at POR. I think it looks very romantic.

I've only stayed at a value resort once and I never will again. I would always choose the shorter stay at a mod. or delux. I found the value to be much louder (probably due to a larger number of unsupervised teens), very crowded food court (often stood around to see when someone got up from their table so we could grab it), the bus lines and waits were longer than anywhere else we have stayed, no water slide for my kids (of course this is a very minor minus), and no hot tub for my sore/tired muscles after a long day at the parks.

I'd like to stay in the moderate resorts. Too many large tour groups/cheerleading competitions in the value resorts.

DH and I always stay at value. We rather stay at the parks longer. Though, we would love to try at moderate and a deluxe on day.
