    Default Romance at WDW

I've read the Romance section in Info Central and have gotten some really great ideas. But, I want to know what are some of your favorite romantic things to do? I'm looking for some (hopefully cheap or free) ways to bring romance into our 9 day trip in November/December. Oh, and for dinners we're eating at Liberty Tree Tavern(certainly not so romantic), Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, San Angel Inn, Sci-Fi, and Tony's...just FYI. Thanks for your help!! @-->---

Sadly, one of our favorite things to do is gone - riding the Skyway at night. With all the lights and sounds, being able to be alone and still enjoy it (and sneak in a smooch or two) was very romantic. Sigh.

At the parks, my favorite "romantic" activity is snuggling with my husband while we watch Wishes at MK.

I think riding the TTC at night at MK is romantic. We were the only ones in our train when we rode it at night. I also like watching the fireworks at both MK and Epcot, very romantic to me.

Since you are staying at POFQ, I recommend reserving an evening horse drawn carriage ride. It will pick you up at POR & take you for a ride around the POR & POFQ grounds.

The cost is $30, but personally I find that cheap for such a unique activity. And it most certainly romantic to sit with your sweetie on the ride under the stars.

You'll need to make a reservation though. I think through Disney activities. Try 1-407-WDW-PLAY. There are limited times.

I also think the boat ride to/from Downtown Disney at night can be a nice, relaxing time.

Taking a walk around the POR resorts is also romantic and a nice way to "wind down" at the end of the evening...

I also recommend the boat to DDT from your resort

Also watching Wishes fireworks from beach at Poly and then catching water parade after that

After wishes on Main Street USA, look around the shops or walk over the little bridges near Adventureland and once the crowd dies down walk hand in hand down Main Street. Stop and gaze at the castle. It will be beautiful with all the changing colors and the background music is icing on the romantic cake!

Take a private swim in one of the quiet pools after dark. Stroll down some of the lighted pathways. Just about anything can be turned romantic when your with your honey!

DH and I spent a few evenings visiting the bars and lounges at different resorts when we were there for our honeymoon. I see you've been to the AKL, so you know how romantic a setting that resort is. You can also go to the California Grille atop the Contemporary, just for drinks. We also found it very R & R (relaxing and romantic) to walk along the Beach Club resorts from Epcot. And nothing is more fun than sharing icecream sundaes from Beaches and Cream!

I've heard that Port Orleans is very romantic - good resort choice!
