Room Keys

We are going to DLR (staying at GCH) for the first time in mid-July. I have a question about DLR in general: do the hotel room keys function in the same way as the Keys to the World at WDW? Can you charge to them and tie your park admission to them?

Unfortunately the room keys are in fact just room keys. At check-in you get a white piece of paper that serves are your permission to charge to your room and your park-hoppers are the regular ticket style tickets. It would be nice if DLR got that same technology!

It would; from what I know, though, WDW has a very complex intranet that would be hard to duplicate without the land and control that RCID provides... just thought I'd check.
