Actually, I've been pondering about it for a while. I've tried searching it for a while on Google, but just ended up with thousands of trade links that contain beta. Oh, my question is: When was beta exactly?

I know it started when VMK started, but I don't know when it "ended." This guy who was hanging out in Dragon's room was complaining about how he joined VMK right after beta ended, so I figured that beta has a start and end date?

I might've saw VMK during beta but was dumbo enough not to sign up. During beta times, did VMK have a homepage with blue? And on the left side there was a little video of VMK inside a glass ball or something. I thought later it might've been beta, but I'm not really sure.

Anyone here from beta times? Thanks!

The homepage has had three different looks ( I think) The attached image was the first homepage and was around until around January '06.
