Last trip I had my regular dull MagicBand (no +) but often used my Apple Watch instead. One on each wrist so whatever was closest to the reader was what I used.

On YouTube, Defunctland did an excellent documentary on the evolving Fastpass system that included queuing philosophies and practices, comparisons of the new and old Fastpass system, and some info...

Midnight was when it came available but we were usually turning in shortly after that anyway. Night owls

I'd check with a cast member when you get there. When we were at Epcot, Pooh was wandering in the garden area outside of JII. But guidelines change so I'd check closer to your trip.

I wrote about this in the Theme Park forum. They will interact with your table from a distance and you can stand at the end of the table and get a picture with them posing in the background but it...

This was something I wrote three months ago on LinkedIn when Genie+ was announced. This was when YouTube would let you see the number of dislikes for a video:
Wow! The official The Walt Disney...

I was there with you Jeff! Friday was the only day that standby wait times didn't get unreasonable (at least at MK and Epcot). Weather was incredible though. Stinks on the parking.
I've personally...

I stayed there about 5 years ago for one night (and hung around the pool and worked after checkout). The main pool had great theming and there is a nice food court/shopping area (Old Port Royale)....

We purchased it daily through the app. My wife handled the purchase and said we had to purchase it after midnight.

For those who are going during the pandemic, the character experience is different and perhaps a little awkward. No more kids running up and hugging Mickey or Pooh Bear. In the parks, they are in...

We just came back from a trip (1/3-7). Went to MK day 1 and didn't purchase the $15 LP though my wife was able to buy them for one ride for a lesser amount. But the crowds were up and we ended up...

Used the virtual queue last week for this and it worked very well. The only thing that worked better was my motion sickness prevention patch otherwise I would have been toast. Very fun experience.

Yes, those are the Time Lords :mickey: It does make sense to under-promise and over-deliver and I was used to about a less than 10 minute variation but so many were way off the last couple of times...

We stayed here for a week around Thanksgiving. Can access the back road near AK pretty easily. Nice place and good host. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/38324970

Just came back from WDW a couple of weeks ago. Though a traditionalist, I'm excited about the Epcot changes and the preview in the old Odyssey center. However, this trip taught me to be VERY...

When you notice that you have made 99 posts and instantly think in a haunting voice "but there's always room for ONE more! Any volunteers?" So here's 100.

I get motion sick watching my wife and kids on Teacups in MK. Although I could watch Swirling Saucers, I think you would be wise to avoid it. The car itself spins and the platform does different...

I wrote this on my blog in 2017 but was thinking about it again today.
Walt Disney said that his parks would always change as long as imagination was in the world. That guiding statement has its...

I had to be in Tacoma for a conference. Afterwards my wife and I took a 2-day train trip from Seattle to Chicago on the Amtrak Empire Builder. We had a sleeper car to ourselves and would eat supper...

I'm ok on Soarin' and can even sit on the aisle of an airplane without Bonine/Dram but get motion sick on Star Tours and was defeated by Body Wars. My wife said FOP would be fine because of the...

Having been to WDW countless times, I was glad my wife and I could take our 25-year old nephew to MK on Monday. He loved it! Really got the magic. Our kids took him to AK, HS, and Epcot the previous...

That is a possibility. They were larger poodles and it look like they were wearing Harley Davidson jackets.

I came out of the Living Seas at Epcot and saw an adorable micro dog on a leash outside the attraction. It hit me a minute later...there was a dog at Epcot. I figured the guest got some approval to...

I was at AK yesterday. We went up to the Na'vi River Journey and it was closed with a technical issue. Went over to Avatar Flight of Passage and the displayed wait time at the entrance (and the app)...

Before a trip, my boss said, "I guess we can just call you if we need you."
I said, "My phone doesn't work at WDW."
He replied, "How? I'm sure you can get a signal there."
I emphasized, "MY phone...
