HOOPlA!!
(Sorry, I couldn't resist! :eek2:)

I agree that the film's horribly outdated, but I think that has more to do with the effects and general shopworn quality of the attraction. If it was a great attraction, we wouldn't care that some...

I adore SpectroMagic, and it's always a highlight of my WDW vacation. Last year, I took my DBF for the 1st time, and during the parade, he said, "I guess there is such a thing as Disney Magic." ...

Not necessarily a "Disney" candy, but when I'm in the World, I need to stock up on my British candy at the English pavillion in WS: Time-Out bars, Aero bars, and Mars bars!

For MK, I'd have to agree with 20,000 Leagues. Mr. Toad and the original Tiki can still be found at Disneyland (and I can't wait to ride their submarine ride, if I sould ever get out there again!).

My favorite part is the drop into the Laughin' Place. I love the double-dip!

I've been to both twice in the past year, and as far as MK is concerned, I'd say Disneyland wins hands-down. Except for the castle, it didn't feel smaller to me, and it benefits from more and...

I rode it on Tuesday, and I agree that it's desperate for a referb, particularly the soundtrack. :eek2:
Now, if only WDW started taking better care of their attractions, they wouldn't have to...

Just last week, my boyfriend was picked to be the mechanic on the Backlot Tour. I've got video footage of him getting a ton of water dumped on his head!
(He also wants me to mention that he was...

I completely agree with this. Oftentimes, the best thing we can do are the things we do before they get lost, like teaching them to "Hug-a-Tree" (love that!) or identify a Cast Member. The kids'll...

See ya later, Animal Kingdom!

It sounds like you had a wonderful trip! As a childless, Disney-lovin' adult, I love hearing about couples and their experiences. Not a character meal in sight!
One thing shocked me, though: ...
