I'll see if I have any mutual friends - I'm from Dexter, MI, and so may have friends who know him. I saw him entering EPCOT on the Half, and was suitably impressed - running a half marathon is an...

Yes, people over on DisBoards are reporting that they've gotten emails, and Laura Spencer tweeted that there's "Pixie Dust on the way" earlier today... so for all those in the running this year...

I'm curious. If the title above makes no sense to you, that's fine. I don't want to give it away. But I've been unable to find a lot of people who have... noticed, on video... what's happening in...

For me, one that stands out is 20k Leagues. I rode it as a kid, and loved the lagoon (and the Ariel M&G that went in overlooking it) as an adult. I was pleased to find the "hidden Nautilus" when the...

This sounds like the difference between a tourist and a traveler that one of my college profs taught me a long time ago.
A tourist sees what they have come to see - a waterfall, mountain, or a...

I've only been in a capacity close situation once - MK on 3 July. We got a late start and entered around 10 AM, and were immediately shunted right and out into the CM spaces (parking lot), then into...

Huh. Thanks, I'll have to try that (back down in Jan).
Which is a lot of fun :).
The organ has a nice shout-out to an individual involved with the HM (& other rides) as well.
There's at...

Thank you all (from my wife) for the wonderful congratulations! She's very excited, and falling rapidly into the amazing busyness of preparing for training (ulp! just weeks away!), but it's wonderful...

Well, I'm not sure if any INTERCOT folks made it (there's still a few that haven't chimed in yet, right?), but...
At least it looks like the WIFE of a (very very junior sub-grade) INTERCOT member...

Round three has been notified... the new panel members have already been selected (& notified). No, I'm not one of them... but just thought I'd update.

Someday...
We're headed down, with DW and DS (14) doing the half, myself and DD (11) doing the 5K, and our youngest DD (7) doing the Mickey Mile. Right now the youngest could actually do the 5K in...

OK, note to self, get a bunch of glow-bracelets when we go down this summer...
We've spread the magic with FP's for a while (heck, just informing new parents of parent-swap has made more than a...

Although to be fair, this was at Disney, right? As my children have informed me, at Disney the child isn't lost... the *parent* is. Yes, I have some remarkably independent and self-confident children...

I can't remember all the lost & founds we've had, but most fairly minor (a coat left on a chair, etc... all retrieved when we went back to the location). The worst was when I left my camera on Indy...

We saw this (along with our 1st WoC experience) just before Christmas this year (in a brief evening when it wasn't raining... did you know WoC can be shut down be too much rain? Sigh...). Loved WoC,...

We went a short time ago, and we did our first rides on the Davy Crockett canoes - fantastic! Thanks to CM Kristina for handling the most ridiculous family of over-paddlers DL has perhaps ever...

There have been days where we've done M:S at least 6 or 7 times (always Orange... I'm still upset they toned down the ride in the first place). This last trip DS (12) & I rode BTMRR 8 times in a row....

This is a wonderful, cool idea! We've never done that, but have done some similar things (personally I've always been impressed by the CM's). We had one of the photographers take our picture... then...

One thing I haven't seen mentioned (& maybe I just missed it in trying to sort through 12 pages of posts :) ) is flow. Looking at the detailed drawings, this would solve a significant issue in that...

As others have pointed out, so is going to WalMart or even (from the standpoint of the infant) a trip to see grandparents. We do an awful lot of things with very young children that are not focused...

Is it line jumping?
Well... "Do unto others". How would you feel if the line in front of you, that seemed to consist of perhaps half a dozen people, suddenly materialized into 20 or 30 people as...

This is tough... 100 rides is a lot. Best guess:
MK: Splash (if warm) or BTMRR
EPCOT: MS (yes really) or perhaps Soarin.
AK: EE (abusive)
DHS: RnR with TSM a very close 2nd.

I'd agree with the "go up on deck" theme. I was usually up (often with our then two-year-old), and the best pictures (of the ship, the sunrise, and my youngest daughter) were all early-morning...

Hmm. Any suggestions for a family of five on a seven-night cruise? We need to get from Orlando to port, and then back again afterward... it it sounds like the towncar might not fit us :(.

We (myself, DW, DS11, DD8, & DD5) will be joining you! Our third DCL adventure (the 1st two were western), but this time we'll also have along my sister's family of four. We're really looking forward...
