I think we have learned a lesson with our experience with the 60 (+10) day booking window. Next trip we will book the most important FP+ attractions at the END of our trip. Use the beginning of it...

Hello,
We are headed to WDW with a party of 7 in 59 days. We are staying 10 nights, being split between the BWV and VWL (Boulder Ridge). Yesterday morning we got up at 4am to login to MDE to...

Excellent info! Thanks , guys!

Hello!
My wife and I are going to take our extended family to WDW about a year from now, renting multiple rooms using points (Bank-Use-Borrow). The plan is for 7 nights. Things get a bit...

I recently saw an aerial map of DLR and DCA. There was a highlighted area across Harbor Blvd from DCA labeled "New land acquisition". I thought maybe, just MAYBE, it could be a new DVC property. ...

Wow. Maybe they will incorporate that into the upcoming refurb...?

Hello!
I was just looking at a floor plan for a 1 Bedroom Villa at OKW and it looks like the only way into the bathroom/toilet area is through the bedroom. This seems awkward if there are people...

We are six hours away from DL. We love it and attend often. We consider it a weekender kind of trip. We get to WDW about every 2-3 years and consider it a full blown vacation. I think that both...

We are hoping to visit Aulani for our anniversary and were wondering if the resort possibly had shuttles, free or paid, to some of the local attractions like Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, etc... Thanks in...

 Doin' the single-digit dance over here!
9 days until we arrive for 6 nights at OKW, then 3 nights aboard the Disney Magic, then back on land for 4 nights at BLT. 15 months of...

Book it at 180 days from arrival and toward the end of your trip. Disney guests get an extra 10 days beyond the 180 so the competition is less.

Do you mean to trade 2 CS credits for 1 TS meal?
Because this wouldn't hold true for the Flex DDP. TS meals are typically booked nearly 6 months in advance, & they don't know where you will use...

This is precisely the reason they require it for length of stay

I believe Disney should add the "Flex Dining Plan" which would fit more budgets and lifestyles for families travelling to WDW.
First the basics:
The Flex DDP must be purchased for your entire...

The $30 starting figure is very close. I can't find our menus from '09 right now, but I just saw them a few weeks ago when we were making plans. Cape May was around $30 - maybe $32-ish.
So, by...

This is EXACTLY what I was getting at. The higher the menu prices, the more they can charge for the DDP. The more they charge for the DDP, the more attractive it seems when it is offered for...

We are headed to WDW mid Oct. Our last trip was Dec '09 and we had some meals in mind that we ended up deciding against (Cape May Clambake for example) at the time. Well, in making ADRs for our...

Sweet! Thanks for the reply.
9 days and counting... :mickey:

Not sure if it was WDW or DLR, but you used to be able to add the ride photos (some? all?) to your Photopass CD at no extra charge. Is this still true? Or even at an additional charge?

I think AK seems hotter because of all the lush trees and vegetation raising the humidity. It just always seems more muggy there.

...that the new pitchman for Honda is the same actor from the Soarin' preshow? You know, the guy giving the safety spiel, etc...?
:secret:

Does anyone know if they have a penny squisher for EE?? They didn't as of a couple years ago, at least not in the ride exit gift shop. Maybe in another location in the park.

Avatar is an adaptation of 'Pocahontas'. Do a google search and you will see. In that light, it seems like a better fit with disney than at first glance... :twocents:

In October, DW and I will be headed to BWV for a weeklong stay with her folks in a 2BR villa. During this time, we elected to purchase the Standard DDP. Once her folks leave, we move into a studio...
