Hi all - have any of you been waitlisted for the villas? We planned a last minute trip for the end of August, and apparently the studios and 1 bedrooms are full!
We will wait it out until the 31...

I guess it depends on what you are after - quick meal or sit-down?
For us, we get great sandwiches at the quick service cafe in the Wilderness Lodge (yummy egg/bacon/cheese croissant sandwiches!)....

And that is exactly why Disney offers 22 resort hotels. :mickey: Something for everyone!

Same for us (well...except that I'm not tall!). The theming is gorgeous at the WL, and I prefer an interior room entrance. The proximity to MK and the access to fne dining is also a plus.

I think a limited number of tickets are sold to the party, and while Friday's event may sell more than Tuesday's, I think the park will still be much less crowded than your average day. Besides, it...

Especially compared to a bus ride of $4.50 for a day pass, or $50/day for a rental car! :)

From what I read, it's about $3-$5 each way.
The Florida Mall and the Mall at Millenia are both close to each other and close to WDW. I'm not sure if there are any other malls in the area...

We'll be flying in from New Zealand, and may want to do some clothes shopping while in the US (we're originally from Maryland).
I"m not keen on renting a car for a day again this year - are...

Us too! (WL here).

I agree. We've gone in the past because it was part of the water park and more option on our tickets. The first time we went a couple of years ago, we spent an entire day and had a blast. Last...

I agree with the above posters - average food, good beer, and easy to walk up and get a table.

For breakfast, I'd recommend something not on your list - O'hana (unless you are already planning to eat there?).
For dinner, I highly recommend Boma, although I hear T-Rex is interesting!

With no AC, I think we are just going to sleep. :sob:

My husband has taken some amazing pictures on our last couple of trips. On our honeymoon, we both had the special Mickey/Minnie ears (I had the white headband and veil, he had the top hat with ears)...

I agree that Southwest generally has the best fares/best ticketing policies/best (lack of) baggage fees. If they work for your schedule, the only strategy is to buy your ticket as soon as the dates...

We tried several times to order a DVD this year, but one has never come. :( Maybe because we are in the DVC now?
Although we do have older ones...

This trip will be my first to DL (though I'm no stranger to WDW), and I have no idea what our options are to get from LAX to Disneyland.
Tips? Suggestions?
Thanks! :mickey:

We've done it all - resort booked, tickets purchased, dining reservations made, general days/parks planned, MNSSHP booked - even our small grocery list has been planned! We tried on our summer...

My suggestion: subscribe to airfarewatchdog for your city - they will send you daily updates on deals from many airlines.
Then go to the airline site directly to purchase your tickets. It is...

I'm on the "villa" team. My husband and I are healthy eaters, and we found it quite difficult to eat well in the parks (partly because I'm not good with temptation, but also because of the sodium)....

Sadly, I think it's a sign of the times. So many want to "share" their experiences with remotely connected people (via Facebook, twitter etc) that they aren't actually interacting or enjoying actual...

You will love it! My husband and I stayed there for the first time on our honeymoon 3 years ago, and just had to go back again last year. We loved it so much, we bought into DVC (Wilderness Lodge...

Wait...are you going to Pittsburgh or Philly? Or both?
