We have used our OKW at all the east coast DVC resorts except the 2 new (VGF and PBV, but we haven't tried to book those yet). Spring break is somewhat busy but not impossible to get those at the 7...

Points were loaded pretty soon after I posted and I already used them to book a trip for Christmas.
Have a nice trip and I am sure your DVC letter will be waiting for you when you get...

Contract was added to my membership today...just waiting for the points to be added...yay!!!

On 3/11 we were told that we closed...I looked up our recorded deed on the orange county website and found that the deed was recorded on 3/8. But we still don't have the points loaded into our...

There are a ton of dining discounts and shopping discounts for DVC members. Whenever I dine or shop at WDW I ask what discounts they take (AP, DVC, AAA...I have all of them). You also get a...

Very few QS (some at AK and the regular value resorts food courts and ESPN Wide World of Sports). Not many QS places at all.

Look into the TIW card. That's what we used for our last several trips and it was great. It gives you a 20% discount at most TS places (for up to 10 people in your party). It costs $100 to get and...

Yup...exactly!! I have a feeling Disney will take every second of that 2 weeks to load my points. They'd be smart to get them in there ASAP...cause as soon as they do, I am booking a 2BR and a...

We closed on 3/11. We are already members so we should see our points online within 10-14 days of closing...so you should also be getting your paperwork in around 14 days from closing. I check...

Congrats! You will love your DVC membership...and careful, you may get add-on-itis. We passed ROFR around the same time as you (2/20) for our 3rd contract.
I got my closing docs last week and...

I think I meant to say less than 1/2 the cost.

Ohana is a must do for us. Boma is fantastic but if you want a nice signature place, Jiko is even better. Le Cellier is another great signature. I just tried House of Blues for the 1st time in...

You bought directly through Disney? You likely will get addonitis (where you want to keep adding on: for more points...variety of home resorts...etc). When you get addonitis you should look into...

Any word? I heard somewhere that they were putting chips in the mugs so that folks couldn't reuse them and that should be happening soon. I suppose that is when the new mugs will come out...with...

Was at BCV 1/25-1/30 and they had the same old mugs (which we already have). Does anyone know the cost...I asked the CM and can't remember but think he said about $17. Also, do you get TIW discount...

CRT breakfast...for 2TS credits...so not worth it. My girls (twins who were 7 at the time) didn't even give a rats patootie about the characters either. My DS (who was 9 at the time) was miserable.

We were thinking a late dinner (could do 8:30). I thought Via Napoli would be good and I REALLY want to try that. DH is thinking we'll do that for lunch one day, but I prefer not to do TS lunch and...

Cape May is good. And the Boardwalk is a neat area to chill out at. We have not done the Wave and I didn't think we would (I thought I remembered not liking the menu), but I looked at the menu last...

I'd choose Citricos if it were me. But, we have never been to either, though my inlaws do Cali Grill a lot and have said it's not what it used to be. They did Citircos recently and loved it.

Most definitely! Tangierine is one of our fave CS places...mmmmm. Marrakesh was very bland and my entire plate was colorless. I remember a sandy texture...ick! And we could hardly see the dancer....
-
Didn't vote as these are my least fave 2 places to eat in Epcot. We did not have the best dinners at these 2 places, but R&C was a tad better (I liked my pot roast meal...it was not hot though and...

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but there will be wine (and other adult beverages) served here. This will be the one and only place in MK.

Here's our (family of 5) schedule, open to suggestions:
Fri 1/25- Fly in, Check in at BCV and go to Epcot (extra PM hours) dinner at San Angel Inn at 5:30
Sat 1/26- AK in morning...lunch at Yak and...

Another tip is to book mostly menu places, not buffet or family style as those charges are now $30-40. If you get a menu, you may not want the most expensive entre and you may not want a...
