Our first year in Az., we got our usual real tree, put it up on Thanksgiving, and took it down two weeks later. We learned fast that a real pine in Az. survives about a week in the house.:(

We're going Dec. 6 - 14. The crowds will be lighter, but it's not like it was when we started going in 1998 at Christmas time. Christmas at Disney has become more and more popular.:santa:

We're ready to come home at the end of the week. Since we always go the early part of Dec., we have Christmas to get ready for. Our dog is so happy to see us, and the new one will be too.
Any...

I'm an old lady, and forgot what I meant to post. Anyway, there are some "scare tactics" put out that cause people to panic. For example, "you won't get into the Candlelight Processional without a...

Why not get the five day Military Salute ? It goes through Dec. 23.

I'm in the VERY same situation, except that my mother lives with us. One brother and one sister that "advise" me on how to be with her, but don't come around. Wonder if they will when the life...

I travel with my ECV, and am usually the very first one boarded because the scooter needs to be carried down the steps and loaded in baggage. We are usually in the bulkhead seats, except for the one...

Steve Martin worked in DL before he started acting.

I'm a member, but I don't know of any perks. It's a neat magazine, and they send something with each one, (patches, prints, etc.).:mickey:

Sounds like you absolutely KNOW you will.
For me, I'm going to say Irma Bombeck. She seemed like somebody you could just sit in your bathrobe and have coffee with.

You'll take the monorail to the ticket and transportation, and get on another that stops at the resorts. It will be smooth for you - wheelchairs are a breeze. The monorail goes right into the...

I think she just never got over the first one. The hospital needs their nurses, and kind of rushed her.:ill:

My DD, Beth is an ICU nurse, and has been hit with H1N1 for the second time. Infectious disease sent her home yesterday. All of the nurse's were given the vaccine last week, but it evidently ...

I totally agree with the above.

It's not very crowded the first two weeks of Christmas. I don't know how it will be this year, since Anheiser Busche sold Sea World. The word is that it will be pretty much the same, so we'll...

That's exactly why we only do buffets at Disney. The TS is rushed because they over book. We go out once a week at home, so mostly, at Disney, we do CS or the above mentioned buffet. We only made...

There are plenty of places to plug in throughout the parks. Restaurants, like CP have outlets, and outside most attractions, CM's can show you where these are.
My battery was low one time, and we...

Did I notice that you're from CA? It's warm there, so why not a garden? My DH loves growing stuff. He was into G-gauge trains for awhile, and ran track all around the yard. That didn't last long,...

The narrators are totally impressive. They read the text with utmost reverance.

We're lucky. I stay with DD's five dogs when they go away, and she stays with my two, (plus mom) when we go to Disney.
The one year we had to hire a sitter, she was a dog trainer who fed them in...

Actually, there is an elevator for this attraction. AND, the handicapped seating is the best place to view all the action. There's so much to take in, and sitting close up, (I think) is a...

I agree with Sisterslovindisney. We live in Az., and have a different perspective on what's cold and what isn't. The folks from Maine don't think a thing about it, I'm dressed for the...

Good question. Since all tickets are linked to a SS number, and everyone needs to be at the gate together, ???????????:mickey:
