We have bright yellow ID bracelets for the kids that we put our cell phone numbers on. we put the "bracelets" around their ankles. (they are the paer-y plastic-y material bracelets that you get at some water parks etc...) My kids are painfully shy.. and my youngest has speech delay. They will not go to anyone and show a "card, necklace, tatoo, whatever" despite showing them what a CM name tag looks like. I know if GOD forbid they get lost, a CM or helpful adult will see the ID bracelet and be able to call our cells without actually having to get to close to them, and without them having to say much. I feel safer with them on... and with it around their ankle, they arent as likely to play with it...
They can be found on line.. And they give me a LOT of piece of mind.
My other helpful hint is to pack a loaf of bread and PB&J. I make a few sandwiches each day and throw it in a tupperware in the back pack. that way if the kids don't like the CS or TS options, I know they will eat something.

Great tip!!! On our drive down last trip, our headlight came lose. I had to buy duct tape to make a temporary fix.
Another great tip I could have used. I lost one of our photopass cards last trip. It had all the good pics on it.
Don't know if this one was mentioned.
If you are with a group and either plan on splitting up or get split up by accident, be specific when describing a place to meet up. For example, if we get lost meet up at the Castle is kind of general because the Castle is large. Instead say meet up at the rear of the castle tunnel that goes to Fantasyland, something like that.
The pp just reminded me of another tip that I was able to use before my last trip. If your theme park tickets are separate from your room key, take a picture and make a photocopy of them in case they get lost. You'll most likely have the camera with you and you can bring the photocopy in your wallet.
These are some great tips, thanks!
Ziplock bags to put things, cell phone, camera, wallet....etc, in if it rains.
We pack two pairs of socks for each day and change them in the evening if we go out. Trust me your feet will love you! We also take lotion and rub on our tired feet before bedtime.
