Christine,
I posted the pirate pic! :D I will go back to read all of the reports, but I need to get to bed for work tomorrow (and rest my stupid back!). Just wanted to say again that I'm so glad that you're OK and you better take it easy! I had SUCH a blast with you guys, and want to say thanks again for letting me tag along with you all for the weekend! I know it wasn't the best way to ring in the new year for you, but hopefully you guys have had a good trip overall. (certainly a memorable one) I know I said it before (and I will probably post about it some more), but Olivia was just incredible yesterday, she's such a great kid. Watching her while you and John were gone was a joy :) (though we were worried about you!). Tell her I miss her already :(... and I miss you guys too! And ditto for Brian and Michelle... they were both such sweet people, and they made bench warming at Epcot for 10 hours fun! :D
I can't believe I'm saying this, because I thought I was all Disney'd out, but I was just a wee bit jealous talking to you a little while ago knowing you were at MK! ;) Disney is a sickness, it really is.
Will catch up more tomorrow, hope you guys are still having fun at MK! Tell John to enjoy that DP!
Nope...unfortunately they can't do anything for a broken toe!
You just can't resist giving a no-no out, can you?
He has one in his hand right now! He's also enjoying my toffee!
Emily, we had a great time with you, too! The fact that you didn't turn and :bolt: after meeting John, spending 50% of your time in front of restrooms, and watching my kid while we ditched you shows that you're a true friend!
I am feeling better. My chest is a little sore, my heart flutters a tad here and there, and I get a little winded if I walk too much, so I am really taking it easy. Thanks everyone for your concern...I'll be fine!
I am glad that it all turned out akay, but I am sure that was all very scary. I am happy that you were able to see the fireworks afterall. :mickey:
I'm so glad your ok..that must have been so scary.
I hope your following up with your Dr.s at home as well!
Ok, you really need to slow down and take it easy. I have MVP also and I KNOW how scary it is when it flares up! Dehydration, exhaustion, wrong diet... all can add up to a bad flare up.. and with the schedule you've kept on this trip, along with the stresses you guys have gone thru I can understand why you had an issue. I'm glad it was nothing more serious and that you didn't have to stay in the hospital. But to go back to the parks? :jaw: Please take care of yourself! We don't want anything to happen to you! Who would help us keep Pogo and Alex in check? :D
:nono: That is not the way to see Celebration!!
I hope you heed the doctor's advice and slow down a bit. :pixie: for you to feel better!
Thank goodness you were able to get the care you needed, your friends were there to help out with Olivia and you were able to enjoy the New Years spectacular fireworks. So, you didn't mention the crowds . . . how crowded WAS New Years Eve at Epcot?
Hey, would you take it easy?! :mickey:
Wow Christine, I am so sorry to hear what happened!! That must have been pretty frightening... I sure hope things have settled down for you and that you haven't had any more flare-ups!! I didn't know MVP could do that, but I guess it's better to find out early and know what to do!!
It probably wasn't your idea of how you wanted to spend NYE, but hey, you were in WDW.... you had your family and friends with you, and you came out of your hospital scare okay -- not a bad way to ring in the New Year!!'s to you that you're still feeling okay...
You are fortunate to have such wonderful friends... I am glad to hear you are feeling much better. Flareups can often happen when they're least expected. Please, Please be sure to take it easy for the rest of your vacation. You will be returning shortly, so take it easy...
Christine,
This has been a trip for the record books. WOW!! I'm truly glad your health is OK. Make sure you get all checked out when you get home.
Thanks for sharing your incredible adventure!
Julie:mickey:
Sounds like an intreasting day. Glad you are feeling better.
Your trip has certainly had its highs and lows! I'll bet an ambulance ride wasn't on your to-do list of rides when you planned this trip!
I'm really glad that such a scary experience turned out to be okay!
oh my...sooo sorry to here you had to be rushed to the hospital..but im glad everything turned out ok..and i hope you have been feeling good since!! :mickey:
:( how scary to have that situation happen. I am glad you felt better and hope that never happens again!
