The 5 souvenirs I usually get at WDW are:
- T-shirts
- Souvenir mug
- Dated picture frame or photo album
- Ceramic Mickey figurine holding a banner with the year on it
- Towels

3. normally i get one pin that i like
4. a stuffed animal or character plush (last time it was stitch, time b4 that it was a giraffe from AK )
5. the dated ornaments from the resort.

5.My new favorite from my last trip Mr Potatoe Head parts ( I need to make a list of what I have so I don't get repeats next time) I bought a couple containers last time and they were packed.
1. Pins that have a special meaning, such as the resort I'm staying at, or an event that really made the stay magical (last trip I got a Happiest Celebration pin, a Donald Duck pin because my Mom fell in love with him, and a Cinderella's Royal Table pin). I usually do this the last day of the trip.
2. JELLY BELLYS! I know you can get them anywhere but they taste better coming from Disney World. :)
3. A shirt (preferably with a Villian on it.)
4. Pen and maybe some sort of Disney post-it notes (I use them alot at work and it just makes me think of "home" when I do.)
5. Souviner Mug

I try to only buy small things. If I would a bunch of souvineers for every place I've ever been, my house would be full.
Here is my list
-pressed pennies
-postcards with the year on it
-something photo related, a frame, album, scrapbooking
-I never buy mugs but the one I got in Massachusettes years ago just broke and I need a new one
-I am going to buy a antenna topper
-one unique thing to commemorate the trip (last year, my BF's first trip) we got glass mugs engraved in the Germany pavillion with our names on it and it had the date as well.
-Music CDs..I buy one every trip and keep them all in a little case and take them with me when we go back for use in the rental car!
-Magic Towels...I always get a 1/2 dozen of these and use them as washcloths throughout the year
-Big Mickey Shortbread cookies
-Little plastic characters: I keep them all over my desk at work
-DVDs or Books that commemorate the trip...last year I bought a cookbook with recipes from Disney chefs:eat:
Each trip we get:
1. A beach towel from the AK after we ride Kali
2. A mini snow globe with Mickey on it.
3. The paperweights??? with the kids pictures etched inside at EPCOT Imagination.
4. Postcards for our scrap book
5. A picture frame with Disney and the year
6. A magnet for our Shadow Box
1. Christmas Ornament from DTD
2. Picture Frame for traditional family photo in front of the Castle.
3. Frig Magnets to make me happy when I have to cook.:mad:
4. Beach Towels/T-shirts.
5. And each day the customary toy or souvenir each of my three kid gets to pick from anywhere in the Park that we visit that day.

Our favorite places to shop are - The Christmas Shop in DTD, The World of Pooh, The Lego Store, Mouse Gear, County Bounty, The Jewelry Store on Main Street & Villians in Vogue!
I plan on purchasing an antennae topper, a license plate holder and a pen for myself.
I would have to say
1.) New Mr. Potato Head Accessory (but only the ones unique to disney)
2.) DEFINATELY a Christmas Ornament usually 3-4 though
3.) Pins, Pins and more pins,
4.)a T-shirt or Polo Shirt of some kind
5.) Something for our sun (usually something Toy Story or Incredibles)

1. Kids will always get pins - usually from the resort and one (or more) from the parks
2. I almost always get a hat
3. DW generally gets a t-shirt
4. A sports related item in ESPN at DTD
5. A small piece of art from a World Showcase country...last couple of times its been one of the wooden figures from Mexico
And next time I KNOW the kids will build their own lightsabre.
