I was on hold for less than a minute, even though they told me my hold time would be 2 minutes. LOL!
The CM that I originally spoke to (Linda) was fantastic. She answered all of my questions (and rather promptly too b/c she had to look @ her info sheet b/c she was still learning all the changes to the cabin categories, etc.) and helped me get quotes for Ocean View & Verandah staterooms. I was able to put a courtesy hold on the one I wanted for 1 hour so I could get with my husband and decide if we were going to do it now that I had pricing info. I decided to go w/ a Cat. 9A guarantee, so we'll see what we actually end up with. ;)
Linda said that while they were busy today, they were prepared for it and had a full staff & then some working today.
I spoke to my husband & we decided to go for it, so I called back and was connected to a CM (Claudia) pretty much immediately. She verified what I had on hold and I paid my deposit and we're good to go. :number1:
What level Castaway Club Member are you (if you've sailed before)? B/C Gold & Platimum CC Members can book starting today. :mickey:
Thanks for the info.
I've only cruised once, so i have to wait and hope that there is going to be some cabin left net week...!!!

SWEET:thumbsup:
I'm hoping to be able to book next week. Would you be able to tell me if the pricing was comparable to 4 night cruises on the Wonder or was it much more as it is a new ship and the maiden voyage.
Hope to see you on board!:mickey:
Prices on all the cruises vary depending on time of the year, if it's a holiday cruise, etc. But I can tell you what we paid and you can compare it to what you've paid before and make your own inferences. ;)
For a family of 4 (1-14 & 1-8 @ the time of sailing), it is $4520.68 for an outside Cat. 9A guaranteed. That is WITH trip insurance but WITHOUT transfers.
Hope that helps.
Oh and she priced out Ocean View 9B for me and it was for Deck 2 Mid-for the 4 of us, it was $4440.68 (w/ ins. & NO t-fers).
& Also priced Verandah Cat. 6B (decks 5, 6 & 7) and that was $5320.68 (w/ ins. & NO t-fers).
HTHs!
I looked at a sailing in Jan 2010 for about the same Category. Would it be safe to say it's about 50% more?
We booked a cat 5D, on deck 6 midship for two adults including insurance and transfers.
$1904.34 (includes 10% discount for transferring a cruise made onboard last year, and I still retain my OBC).. Sailing date: April 10, 2011, my 65th birthday.
I'm looking to book Monday for a deluxe inside cabin - 2 adults, 2 children. What would that run for the 4 night inaugural sailing on January 26th? My AAA agent said she has not been given prices, just $400 non-refundable deposit.
Can anyone help us with pricing?
That is pretty exciting! Have a great cruise!:mickey:
We're on too. Yay!
Congrats!
We aren't doing the inaugural cruise, as both of my parents will be teaching school by that time. We did, however, book for Feb 10!!! We'll be sailing the first month!
I can't wait!
