SE because it is always the first ride we do when we get to Epcot. As soon as we start going up I get chills and it has nothing to do with the AC. Just the sound of the narrators voice gives me chills. It is one of our family favorites and we always do it when we enter and right before we leave. We are so sad that it is going to be closed for our Oct. 27th trip.
Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, and Space Mountain, to name a few.
Most of them! Especially IASW (since its the first ride it means we're really there!), Splash, BTMRR, HM, ToT, POTC, CoP, etc...:mickey:
I would have to say, for me, it's Fantasmic. I know it's not a ride, but it's the attraction that never ceases to amaze me.
I would have to say POTC and the HM. I love those two rides the most.
For me, its riding the monorail to the MK!
Yippee..My 700th Post!! :minnie:
It is not a ride but, Festival Of The Lion King in AK does it for me. I even get teary eyed watching it. Not sure why it affects me so much, but it is one of my favorite attractions in The World.
The American Adventure, hands down !
Wishes! There is something so magical about the fireworks over the castle! I remember as a young child watching Disney shows on TV and seeing the fireworks over the castle and Tinkerbell. To me, that was the beginning of a life long Disney love. :mickey:
Sorin comes immediately to mind. I find that ride awe inspiring and beautiful. I get a real sense of transversing California and really being there if only for 5 virtural minutes. The scents contribute to the overall effect. :mickey:
Even though it is not a ride, I would have to say Festival of the Lion King. I absolutely LOVE this show and it definately gives me the good kind of chills. It is an amazing performance.
For me it is The Voices of Liberty singing "A Dream is a Wish".....I just can't take it, I cry and get goosiebumps!! Also, Wishes! because my DH and I got married a few minutes before wishes and then celebrated our wedding with a Wishes reception.
KS always gives me the chills when you are out in the Savanah and they start to play that song Hapa Duniani
Also any parade will do it - esp. Spectromagic
I have lots...
1) When I hear the voice of Paul Frees in the Haunted Mansion. I didn't get to hear him on this last trip... :(
2) The beginning of the Tiki Room and hearing the voices of Wally Boag, Fulton Burley, and Thurl Ravenscroft.
3) The Peter Pan part of Mickey's Philharmagic.
4) Any of the ORIGINAL dialogue in Pirates. The less said about the changes the better.
5) Hearing the movie music as I approach MGM.
6) Por Favor Mantengase alejado de la puertas. I know I've arrived :D
Almost every single one including busses, boats or monorail. Seems to happen when the signs start showing up on the interstate.
Soarin hands down. I am a native californian who hasnt been back in over ten years now. I have a great deal of nostalgia for it and that ride brings me to the verge of tears every time I ride it. I've been to virtually every location we fly over in the attraction and it's spine tingling for me each time:mickey:
Most rides can do that, but I would say that Dinosaur, Kilamanjaro Safaris, and Splash Mountain get me the most excited chills of anticipation.
