I will be in WDW Memorial Day week and need to know how to plan for this new land. Dinner at Tiffins? Fast Passes for Avatar rides vs. Yeti and Safari? I guess we need to plan for a full day and night? I can't wait!

For me, it's rope drop and do standby on EE, Dinosaur, Safari & Kali ... see FOTLK, eat somewhere ..... then have my FP's set for Pandora for the evening / night ... I'm supposing after dark will be pretty cool there !!!! I cannot wait to see it ... we should be there in June !!
Plan for very large crowds! Day or evening the colors in Pandora are amazing. With only two rides I am sure fast passes will go quickly. Kinda like the frozen ride when it opened. Wait times for that were 5+ hours. Good luck and enjoy!
I have the same dilema-going in early June. We are just planning a few more visits to AK. I can't think of staying there all day, that place gets hotter thatn the sun in June. We go at rope drop, use up the fast passes and leave before it gets too hot. We are planning two evening visits this trip to squeeze in some Pandora time at night. Looking forward to it.
Just like when Harry Potter opened at Universal, be prepared for lines (and waits) just to enter the new section as well as lines for the rides. With one major entrance just past Tiffins, one can assume that crowds will be held outside the entrance once the area becomes filled. I am curious how fast passes and/or early entrance will be handled.
I will be there on opening day and am expecting large crowds but am excited about seeing it first hand!

We'll be there Mid june. Planning on trying our best for fastpasses at the 60 day window and we've devoted two mornings/one evening to Animal Kingdom.
