:congrats: And let the count down begin :mickey:
Have fun planning!!:mickey:
I got the same one. But it isn't as good as my 30% off moderate pin I got earlier this year, So I am sticking with my other pin. I wish I could combine both pins, that would be awesome!
We, too, got a PIN for free dining the other day. It worked out for us because our first PIN was for 40% off a Deluxe, in which I did initially use, but was only good for 2 of the nights due to Black-out dates. The recent dining offer did not work for our family, once again, for Black-out dates. The recent PIN did not Black-out Columbus week; so...thanks Disney! Now I have a bit more money to spend!!!!!
2005 - 2007 Off Property
2008 Grand Floridian
2009 Wilderness Lodge
2010 AKL....Suprise trip for the Pirates!!!!
I got the same pin! We already had planned our trip for September with free dining, and now I want to plan another trip for December! Too many good offers!:mickey:
I just got my first Pin Code this week too!!!! Unfortunately, it looks like I save more money using the free dining staying at POP vs. the Pin code. Our was for 20% off value, 30% off moderate, and 40% off deluxe. SO tempting to look at a Deluxe. But since we go on a tight budget, free dining at POP is the cheapest. But I'll happily accept any future PIN codes Disney ;) We thought about adding a day or two to the end of the free dining trip and upgrade resorts, but can't swing the extra $ right now. Maybe next time!
How do you get involved with "pinning" and become eligible for pin code discounts?
We also got a free dining pin this week, but we already received a pin for a disocunt that we already applied. Being APholders, we know that free dining would mean buying tickets we did not want, so kept the discount.:mickey:
There is no actually known way to get selected to receive pin codes. The best thing to try is to sign up for any Disney company related email or mailing list, get the free Disney planning dvd, ect.
Like I said, these are just guesses no one really knows how or why people receive pin codes.
We have been to the world 5 times in the last 10 years with no PIN. Then this summer I received one for 20% off room, a month later 40% room rates. Then the free dining comes out for the dates we picked. It was still cheaper to use the 40% off, so we left it as is. :mickey:
