Resorts & Pinbooks....
My 2 DS' had a great time last trip trading pins, especially in the BC and YC lobbies with the CM's.
Next trip we are looking at different accommodations - possibly Wilderness Lodge, Carribbean Beach or POFQ. Do any of these resorts have the pin trading books in the lobby or is that only in a select few resorts. Thanks as always for the feedback!!

I saw one at WL Dec. 07, and we are looking forward to trading from it in 26 days!!!!

Can you give us an update when you get back and let us know if the book is still there? Have a great trip!

I'm not sure about Caribbean Beach or POFQ but I know when I was at WL on Saturday they had a pin trading book near an area where they sell pins.
Hope this helps!

When we were at POFQ in Sept/06 there was a huge cork pin board in the back room of the gift shop that they brought out for the kids to trade from.

Wilderness Lodge still had the book today. Also, there is a book at City Hall in the MK, and at guest services in EPCOT. I haven't been to DHS or AK yet to check there.

Thanks for all the great info everyone! I had no idea there were books in MK and Epcot. Now we know where to look!!

AKL says they have a "Pin King" come into the store M-F@3 pm to trade pins. No pin book. AK does have a pin book at guest services,

When I was first at AKL in 2003 they had a pin book in the gift shop. The next year the pin book had gone and been replaced with a 'pin bag' which the cast members kept inh the gift shop. When I inquired as to why the book had gone they said some of the pins had gone walkabouts. It's a shame that some people just ruin it for everyone. Anyway they had that pin bag for a while but when I went back in 2008 they had King Pin as a magical moment but I'm not sure if they'll still have it now.

We did some great trading from the book at WL last week! We were able to check it a few times throughout the week, and while there wasn't a huge turnover in pins, the kids always found something they liked and we even found a few of the Hidden Mickeys we were on a quest for. The other great trading place we encountered was the pin store in Frontierland at MK - one of the CMs brought out a book in addition to the lanyards. We all had a lot of fun trading this trip, and now that we're home, we really miss it and wish people in our everyday lives wore pin lanyards too!

I don't recall one at CBR. I do remember one at WL. We have spent a lot of time looking at the pins at WL and had so much fun.

caribbean beach has a "pin board" you can look at and trade from. it's at a desk in the center area where the store/food court are. you can ask them for it, and they'll bring it out from behind the counter. it's like a fairly large size bulletin board with lots and lots of pins on it that you can choose from!
